Brent Williams began working as an accounting clerk at Delta Health Care in 1994. He became Chief Accountant and then served as Director of Finance and Information Systems. In 2001, Brent left the firm for a few years to serve as Operations Manager at Judith Buethe Public Relations in Stockton. He oversaw staff operations, organized and managed public outreach programs for large public infrastructure projects, coordinated events, and served as Assistant Producer of the Business Leadership Summit for three years. Brent returned to Delta Health Care in 2004 as Director of Finance and Information Systems, then was named Interim Executive Director, and, in 2009, formally assumed the Executive Director position.
In this capacity, Brent directs the operations of the organization’s $3 million budget; has responsibility for 45 employees; has extensive fiscal and budgetary development and maintenance responsibility; and coordinates with local, state and federal agencies and local community-based organizations. Brent’s commitment and strong financial ability continue to navigate Delta Health Care through a challenging economic climate. “Never, never, never give up” best summarizes Brent’s philosophy. Brent received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Humphreys College and is active in his community, having served for 12 years in leadership positions in Little League, including President for four years, and as Treasurer of the historic Friends of the Fox Theater in downtown Stockton. He serves as Secretary of the Nonprofit Executive Directors Network. Brent is married to Melissa Cook Williams, Senior Associate/Creative Director, Buethe Communications. They have two sons, Stefan and Keegan.
